Customer Success For Tourism In TNQ

Tourism Tropical North Queensland (TTNQ) will run a second Customer Success Program for the tourism industry starting 26 July with limited spaces available.

TTNQ Chief Executive Officer Pip Close said the ground-breaking 18-week small business capability program was tested through an accelerated pilot with nine local businesses over the past nine months to rave reviews.

“Designed to help tourism businesses put customers at the heart of everything they do, the participating tourism operators experienced immediate and tangible results since joining the program,” she said.

“The Customer Success Program is an immersive capability program that revolutionises the way the tourism industry does business as individuals and as a region.

“This innovative approach reframes traditional customer service by placing customer-centric thinking into the DNA of the business to create and deliver experiences that are truly brag-worthy.”

Sheena Walshaw from Jungle Surfing praised the program. “It was refreshingly new, unique and innovative, giving me the tools to see my business in a new light and implement changes that will help me take my business to a new level,” she said.

Developed by boutique customer strategy agency Customer Frame, the 18-week program consists of five half-day workshops, practical toolkits, online learning, mentoring and peer interaction so businesses can identify their customers, track their business performance and ensure alignment of their efforts around their customer.

Customer Frame Partner Sueanne Carr said they received outstanding feedback from the inaugural program members who achieved immediate results by implementing their learnings from the program sessions.

“To witness these changes in such a short time and the energy these operators have for improving their businesses, is awe-inspiring. We’re proud to drive real and actionable outcomes that businesses can use every day to drive growth”, she said.

The TNQ Tourism Small Business Development Program is for TTNQ member and non-member businesses that receive a significant portion of revenue from tourism and have less than 20 full-time equivalent employees.
